The Montavue NVR is equipped with 16 built-in PoE ports designed for up to 16 IP cameras to connect. These ports power the cameras and provide information transfer to all 16 PoE connected cameras simultaneously. This NVR can support x16 4K cameras recording at maximum bit rate and 20 frames per second ensuring the clearest recordings possible. The NVR is also capable of supporting x2 16TB hard drives giving you a total of 32TB of hard drive space.
Storage
The NVR comes with 2 built-in hard drive bays that each support up to 16TB hard drives, this gives you a total possible storage capacity of 32TB.
The 16 channel NVR supports H.265+ recording. Typically, H.265 is the standard for security camera recording because it's efficient and fast. Montavue has advanced this idea with Smart H.265+ recording which enables the NVR to conserve more hard drive storage by decreasing the bit rate for objects on screen that are not human or vehicle, this means that all relevant human/vehicle targets will be more clear on screen and the rest will be recorded at a lower bit rate. This ability allows the NVR to use up to 35% less space on your hard drive while still maintaining clear visuals on your recordings.
Remote Connectivity
Montavue NVRs can connect to your local network and internet which enables the ability to view your system remotely using our free Montavue GO app. Montavue GO is available on smartphone, PC, or tablet and can be accessed 24/7 for free as long as you have an internet signal to your NVR and viewing device. Smart notifications can be sent to your mobile device when humans or vehicles are identified by your Montavue camera system, enabling you to respond to events while you're away.
AI Support
The NVR can support built-in AI camera abilities like SMD+, heat map, people counting, perimeter protection, and face detection. Although these abilities come from the cameras, the NVR is able to decode and display them on screen.
The 16 channel NVR also supports smart search through SMD and face detection, this enables the user to comb through their footage and immediately go to sections where humans and vehicles were detected by SMD enabled cameras or by searching face detection attributes. This can save valuable time and makes the search process as efficient as possible.
Shipping Policies
Items are usually shipped out from distributor or manufacturer warehouse within 1-3 business days but sometimes can take longer due to verification or if the item is on backorder. Once the item has shipped out, delivery time frame within the United States is normally within 5 business days.
If an item is sold out or has been discontinued we may upgrade the item to something similar or better at no additional cost.
*Orders can only be shipped to physical address, for security reasons the billing and shipping address must be the same. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or APO addresses. We also cannot ship to any of the US Territories including Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands.

Return Policies
*Software, services and "Special Order" items including Thermal Imaging products and Temperature monitoring solutions are not eligible for return.
30 Day Return Policy for Unopened Physical Goods Excluding Software, and Special Order Items
If for some reason you no longer want the item, you may return it within 30 days from date of purchase as long as it still brand new, unopened and factory sealed (with the exception of software, services, and special order items such as Thermal Imaging and temperature monitoring solutions which are non returnable). Items must be returned within 10 business days of an RMA issue date, after which the shipment will be refused. that has been opened cannot be returned for credit. Once a product is opened, or the factory seal is broken, it is considered used. This includes product that was just installed to test. Merchandise will not be accepted for return (for credit or repair) unless a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number has been issued. For refunds, there is up to 5% fee to cover merchant processing fees. If an item is returned used or missing any of the original packaging or accessories, based on condition of the product we may additionally charge a minimum 25% re-stocking fee or in some cases refuse any refund and will be returned back to customer at customers’ expense. In case of return for refund, all shipping cost is to be paid by purchaser.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
If you’ve received an order containing damaged, defective, or incorrect items, please contact us within 5 days from the date of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue.
Sales Tax
There will be sales tax for all items being shipped to NY. Sales tax will also be collected on behalf of some of our vendors for items shipped to certain states where Nexus applies.
