The 6 Series NVRs are designed to provide 4K live display/recording, higher power output for larger cameras, and increased AI capability for the system and attached cameras. Featuring 1024 Mbps bandwidth, Smart H.265+ recording, and AI by recorder: 4-channel face detection, 24-channel perimeter protection , and 32-channel SMD+ capability. Also supports Accupick for up to 64 channels.
Smart H.265+ Recording
The NVR contains eight internal hard drive bays, each one can hold up to a 20TB hard drive, giving you a total possible storage capacity of 160TB. This NVR also comes with an E-SATA port which connects to external hard drive units to extend your recording storage space. It also uses H.265+ recording, H265 is currently the standard for security camera recording because it's efficient and fast. Montavue has advanced this idea with Smart H.265+ recording, this enables the NVR's AI to conserve more hard drive space by decreasing the bit rate for objects on screen that are not human or vehicle, this means that all relevant human/vehicle targets will be more clear on screen and the rest will be recorded at a lower bit rate. This ability allows the NVR to use up to 35% less space on your hard drive while still maintaining clear visuals on your recordings.
Network Connectivity & Remote Viewing
Montavue NVRs can connect to your local network and internet which enables the ability to view your system remotely using our free MontavueGO app. MontavueGO is available on smartphone, PC, or tablet and can be accessed 24/7 for free as long as you have an internet signal to your NVR and viewing device. Smart notifications can be sent to your mobile device when humans or vehicles are identified by your Montavue camera system, enabling you to respond to events while you're away.
AI by NVR
The 6 Series AI NVR's from Montavue can employ AI abilities to cameras that otherwise would not have them. This means you can use SMD+ Human/Vehicle recognition, Face Detection, Smart Search, and Perimeter Protection with any camera connected to the NVR. All of these abilites are harnessed through the NVR and can produce more efficient playback, increased identification accuracy, and reduce false notifications to your mobile device. The 6 Series 64 channel NVR can simultaneously perform 4 channel face detection, 24 channel perimeter protection , and 32 channel SMD+ capability, all without any built-in camera AI ability being required.
Shipping Policies
Items are usually shipped out from distributor or manufacturer warehouse within 1-3 business days but sometimes can take longer due to verification or if the item is on backorder. Once the item has shipped out, delivery time frame within the United States is normally within 5 business days.
If an item is sold out or has been discontinued we may upgrade the item to something similar or better at no additional cost.
*Orders can only be shipped to physical address, for security reasons the billing and shipping address must be the same. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or APO addresses. We also cannot ship to any of the US Territories including Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands.

Please note that if import duties and taxes are applicable there may be additional charges charged by the courier company handling the delivery of your goods.
We cannot guarantee that your order will ship in a single box. Products may ship from multiple warehouses to facilitate a faster delivery. The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all local laws and regulations of the destination country.
Orders shipped from the United States destined for an international destination may be subject to local import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the country where the goods are being delivered.
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be.
Return Policies
*Software, services and "Special Order" items including Thermal Imaging products and Temperature monitoring solutions are not eligible for return.
30 Day Return Policy for Unopened Physical Goods Excluding Software, and Special Order Items
If for some reason you no longer want the item, you may return it within 30 days from date of purchase as long as it still brand new, unopened and factory sealed (with the exception of software, services, and special order items such as Thermal Imaging and temperature monitoring solutions which are non returnable). Items must be returned within 10 business days of an RMA issue date, after which the shipment will be refused. that has been opened cannot be returned for credit. Once a product is opened, or the factory seal is broken, it is considered used. This includes product that was just installed to test. Merchandise will not be accepted for return (for credit or repair) unless a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number has been issued. For refunds, there is up to 5% fee to cover merchant processing fees. If an item is returned used or missing any of the original packaging or accessories, based on condition of the product we may additionally charge a minimum 25% re-stocking fee or in some cases refuse any refund and will be returned back to customer at customers’ expense. In case of return for refund, all shipping cost is to be paid by purchaser.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
If you’ve received an order containing damaged, defective, or incorrect items, please contact us within 5 days from the date of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue.
Sales Tax
There will be sales tax for all items being shipped to NY. Sales tax will also be collected on behalf of some of our vendors for items shipped to certain states where Nexus applies.
