Their shape houses a longer lens for better zoom and low-light performance than a comparable dome camera, and the visible, forward-pointing design works as its own visual deterrent, letting people see exactly where the camera is aimed.
Bullet cameras are the right pick when you want a clear, obvious line of sight down a specific area, such as a driveway, fence line, parking lot entrance, loading dock, or the approach to a front door. Because the housing is exposed rather than recessed, they're also easier to aim precisely and to service or re-angle after installation than a fixed dome camera.
