4K Resolution
4K resolution (3840 x 2160) gives you wide screen high definition images for recordings and for live display via NVR or Home Computer. High quality 4K recordings ensure you capture identifying features and events in the best quality possible. The camera captures 4K at 30 frames per second, combined with the PTZ abilities, this camera is one of the best at getting detailed high definition images.
Pan, Tilt, and Zoom
Pan, tilt, and zoom cameras (referred to as PTZ) are equipped with the ability to rotate the camera around, tilt up and down, and zoom in on objects all via remote control from either the NVR, Computer, or MontavueGO app . The camera has a 360° rotation, 105° tilt, and 25x zoom magnification. It's also equipped with auto-tracking, which uses all of the PTZ abilities to automatically track human and vehicle targets that are detected. PTZ cameras can also be set to automatically patrol sections of your property or even react to other cameras being triggered with motion. PTZ is the ultimate form of security camera and can be used in many different scenarios.
Auto-Tracking
The camera has the ability to perform auto-tracking. Using artificial intelligence, the camera detects if the target is human or vehicle, once detection occurs, the camera tracks the target until the subject leaves the area/view or the track time expires. The trigger will be able send notifications via Montavue GO when tracking is engaged. The track time is customizable up to 300 seconds per event.
SMD 4.0
Smart motion detect uses AI recognition to determine if objects moving in front of the camera are human or vehicle. This helps eliminate false notifications, accurately activates the dual illumination, and ensures that all motion recordings are significant and not just a tree blowing in the wind. SMD 4.0 is our most advanced version powered by AI within the camera to give you the best accuracy available today. SMD recognition distances stated in the chart are for when the camera is fully zoomed out. Recognition distances increase when camera is zoomed in.
Artificial Intelligence
The camera features multiple AI abilities including tripwires, intrusion zone, face detection, abandoned/missing object, fast moving object, parking detection, crowd gathering, and loitering detection. All of these features can be used with our 4, 5, and 6 series NVRs or if the camera is being used as a standalone device.
IR LED Night Vision
The Infrared LED night vision of the camera has a massive distance of approximately 500 ft. Since this is infrared light, it will not be visible to humans so you can be assured that your cameras will go undetected while in infrared mode. With the IR LED night vision, you'll be able to see into pitch black locations and be able to capture accurate details of subjects from a long distance. This camera does support low light color optics, however, if the sensors determine there is not enough light, they will activate the IR lights.
IP67 Weatherproof & IK10 Vandal-Proof
The camera has IP67 weatherproof protection from the elements making it completely waterproof and dustproof. Combined with a tough all metal exterior, this camera has an IK10 vandal-resistance rating, meaning it can withstand significant kinetic damage before being rendered non-operational. Also boasting a temperature range from -40° F - 158° F the camera can go into the most extreme environments and still be perfectly functional.
MAM305W Wall Mount Included
The camera includes a MAM305W mount in the package. This is a wall mount intended to allow the camera to hang vertically. This means that the MTZ8250 will have full 360° views and give you some distance from the wall so that you can get the best shot possible. The MAM305 also provides weather protection for the camera's cable which is designed to run through the hollow center of the mount and into the wall where it's mounted. Other mounts that are popular with the camera include our parapet mount, pole mount, or our corner mount. Be sure to get the necessary adapters and junction boxes that may be needed for these products.
Shipping Policies
Items are usually shipped out from distributor or manufacturer warehouse within 1-3 business days but sometimes can take longer due to verification or if the item is on backorder. Once the item has shipped out, delivery time frame within the United States is normally within 5 business days.
If an item is sold out or has been discontinued we may upgrade the item to something similar or better at no additional cost.
*Orders can only be shipped to physical address, for security reasons the billing and shipping address must be the same. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or APO addresses. We also cannot ship to any of the US Territories including Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands.

30 Day Return Policy for Unopened Physical Goods Excluding Software, and Special Order Items
If for some reason you no longer want the item, you may return it within 30 days from date of purchase as long as it still brand new, unopened and factory sealed (with the exception of software, services, and special order items such as Thermal Imaging and temperature monitoring solutions which are non returnable). Items must be returned within 10 business days of an RMA issue date, after which the shipment will be refused. that has been opened cannot be returned for credit. Once a product is opened, or the factory seal is broken, it is considered used. This includes product that was just installed to test. Merchandise will not be accepted for return (for credit or repair) unless a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number has been issued. For refunds, there is up to 5% fee to cover merchant processing fees. If an item is returned used or missing any of the original packaging or accessories, based on condition of the product we may additionally charge a minimum 25% re-stocking fee or in some cases refuse any refund and will be returned back to customer at customers’ expense. In case of return for refund, all shipping cost is to be paid by purchaser.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
If you’ve received an order containing damaged, defective, or incorrect items, please contact us within 5 days from the date of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue.
Sales Tax
There will be sales tax for all items being shipped to NY. Sales tax will also be collected on behalf of some of our vendors for items shipped to certain states where Nexus applies.
